Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesMTW's CHPP is currently seeking a Production Technician (Mechanical) to join the team on a full-time basis.
Working a 12 Hour Day/Night rotating roster and reporting to the CHPP Production Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will be to operate all areas of the Coal Preparation plant in line with production schedules.
The role will require you to:
Operate and monitor the preparation plant to optimise production and quality at all times;Provide a timely response to operational and maintenance issues to ensure targets are met;Inspect and monitor coal processing;Complete allocated preventative maintenance tasks and inspections as assigned;Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the CHPP;Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including production and safety improvements.Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidates will display the Yancoal – 'Our Way' behaviours in everyday practice and foster a 'One Team' culture.

To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes:
