About the roleDRA Operations are currently seeking experienced CHPP Operator Maintainer (Electrical & Mechanical) to join our Shift Relief team on site in Central Queensland.
These positions will be offered on Casual Contracts and you will be offered work to cover Planned Leave and Adhoc leave.
You will be provided with flights to site from Cairns, Townsville or Rockhampton with camp accommodation whilst on site.
Whilst Cairns, Rockhampton and Townsville are our primary FIFO hubs we encourage applicants from all regional Queensland communities to apply.
As part of our team on site, you will find that no two days are the same.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Operate and monitor preparation plant to optimize production and quality as directed by the CHPP Production Supervisor.Operate stockpile dozers to manage the product coal stockpile, reclaim operations and train loading.Perform train loading operations in line with train schedules and blend parameters.Perform first response breakdown maintenance tasks as required.Conduct Planned Maintenance activities & Inspections.Housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP, Train Loadout and Yard.About youOur ideal candidate is a positive and safety-conscious team player with a strong work ethic who possesses the following:
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification.Previous experience as an Operator Maintainer on a coal processing plant.Stockpile Dozer Experience – highly regarded.Current Coal Board Medical.Current Standard 11.Valid Australian Drivers License.Valid Right to Work in Australia.SARC Cert (Safety Access Rail Corridor) - Highly regarded.Current LVR/CPR - if applicable.Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team.Please note that as part of our recruitment process you will be required to complete a police clearance, Functional Capacity Evaluation and drug and alcohol screen.
