In Australia, we operate two open cut and three underground Steelmaking coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin, every year producing millions of tonnes of the highest quality hard coking coal for this purpose.
Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Electrical Planner to work in the CHPP at our Capcoal Mine in Middlemount.
You will be accountable for developing, communicating and monitoring the short-term electrical maintenance plan to ensure optimal equipment availability in accordance with the long-term maintenance plan.
This is achieved through monitoring performance against the plan and collaborating with Coordinators, Engineers and Supervisors.
In the medium term you will demonstrate ongoing performance improvement.
To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a capable, friendly and professional team to achieve business objectives.
You will also enjoy the challenges involved in maintenance, implementing preventative maintenance and managing small projects.

QualificationsTo be successful you will have the following:
Trade qualification, Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance Management, and/or relevant planning experience in a similar settingDemonstrated specific maintenance experience within CHPP operationsDemonstrated maintenance planning experience with plant equipment portfolios.Experience in use of SAP or similar ERP systemAbility to work with stakeholders from other departments effectivelyStrong Microsoft Office skills, with a particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel & MS ProjectsUnderstanding of budget and cost controlExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAdditional InformationFull-time, permanent position Monday to FridayFlexible work options available, including a 9 day fortnightFIFO, DIDO, Residential optionsRelocation Assistance ProvidedMiddlemount Housing and Assistance (Sal Sac)Attractive Salary & Annual Bonus + 12% SuperannuationFree access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP)What we Offer
