The Role An opportunity exists at our operation for an CHPP Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an integral member of the maintenance team, you will provide technical advice and assistance to ensure safe and optimum performance of plant and equipment at Ravensworth and site compliance with legislative and business standards.
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for:
Maintaining currency of the electrical Engineering Control Plan in line with WHS (MPS) Legislation Identifying obstacles and implementing strategies early to address them to achieve budget. Developing Asset management systems in alignment with the GCAA framework to effectively achieve budget utilisation rates, achieve reliability and availability and consistently deliver planned levels of equipment performance in all areas of operations Advising CHPP Maintenance Department in relation to legislative compliance of installation and maintenance systems Project management of site electrical engineering projects About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Electrical Engineering Degree / certificate / associate diploma or Electrical Engineering Mine Electrical Engineer – Surface Coal Operations Certificate (or ability to acquire) Previous experience and positive results in an engineering role in a medium to large scale operation The ideal candidate will thrive on identifying continuous business opportunities and demonstrate a high concern for the health and safety of others, maintaining a safe workplace by actively following safety systems and ensuring adherence to all company HSEC policies and legislative requirements.
