Our clients are looking for an All Rounder Accountant, specifically experienced in an Accounts Payable/ Finance role.
The Role:
Support the transactional Accounts Payable activities such as: Enter, upload and process invoices and credit notes Reconcile statements and investigate discrepancies Ensure all purchase orders are approved for received invoices Creating Weekly Cost Reports Continually review and monitor compliance to ensure good governance is in place to ensure the integrity of the data entry, record keeping, reporting, utilisation and security access to the Finance system Maintain the supplier and creditor database including set up of new additions and modifications to existing suppliers. Actively engage with customer queries and attend to allocated Email inbox tasks and phone calls. Work closely with the Finance team to maintain positive working relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
Working knowledge and experience in a finance and administration position Customer service and/or administration experience. Understanding of bookkeeping, transactional financial and the relevant legislations and statutory requirements. An accreditation in Accounting, Finance or Business would be desirable however not essential Working knowledge of financial procedures, specifically application of purchasing, accounts payable, taxation and applicable legislation as well as Local Government Act and Regulations would be an advantage. High level of attention to detail, accuracy and customer service. Possession of Current C Class Drivers License. Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate. Proficient in Xero, NetSuite, MYOB or SAP ERP Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. To Apply:
