Job Description
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at the Commercial Hotel, Kingaroy! As a Chef, you will assist in maintaining an efficient kitchen operation, ensuring all meals are high-quality and prepared promptly. You will utilise a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to create dishes based on a seasonal menu, practice effective stock rotation, and minimise waste.
The following skills, behaviours, and qualifications are essential:
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher. Proven kitchen management experience in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and training abilities, with a talent for motivating teams. Flexibility to work various hospitality hours. Skilled in conflict management, maintaining composure under pressure, and thriving in an unsupervised setting. Minimum of 3 years industry experience is required. Why join us:
