Chinese Lote Teacher

We are inviting applications for a passionate and skilled LOTE Chinese Teacher who is capable of teaching across our primary and secondary school curriculum.This is an ongoing full-time position commencing in Term One, 2025.At Cobram Anglican Grammar School, we believe that learning a language plays a vital role in a well-rounded education.The successful applicant will be required to teach Chinese across our Junior School (Foundation to Year 6) and Senior School (Year 7 to Year 12).Importantly, they will also be required to teach Unit 3/4 VCE Chinese Language, Culture and Society. In this subject, students develop an understanding of the language, social structures, traditions and contemporary cultural practices of diverse Chinese-speaking communities. They extend their study of the Chinese language, develop the skills to critically analyse different aspects of the cultures of Chinese-speaking peoples and their communities, and gain insight into the connections between languages, cultures and societies.
