Your Role You'll be an influential member of the Contract Administration team, partnered closely with Executive and Project Managers. This critical position will continue to deliver excellence in all stages of contract handling from successful tender applications through the lifecycle of the contract. Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and finalising contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions meet project requirements, local legislation and pricing parameters. Negotiating contract terms with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to protect the financial interests of the project. Monitoring project budgets and forecasting costs, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints. Tracking all project expenses, variations and progress claims and handling cost variations to maintain budget alignment. Collaborating with executive teams as needed to address complex contract issues and resolve disputes. Operating as the main point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and clients regarding contract terms, progress, and amendments. Facilitating clear communication across project teams to ensure everyone understands their obligations. Maintaining accurate and organised records of all contracts, change orders, payment schedules, and correspondence. Tracking project milestones, assessing compliance with contract terms, and reporting on performance metrics. Providing periodic updates on project progress, identifying potential delays and recommending solutions to stay on schedule. Reviewing and approving invoices submitted by contractors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms. Coordinating with the finance team to process payments and manage cash flow for the project.
Other Details The position is Full-Time, Monday – Friday and the company seeks to mirror their energetic, vibrant and excellence in accuracy and relationships. Remuneration guide is commensurate with skills and attributes; ranged between $100 – 120K + Super, with access to a company vehicle where required.
About You You are a confident and experienced Contract Administrator ideally in Commercial Construction. You have a desire to progress your career in Contract Administration and support Project Managers with excellence in project delivery. You are highly accurate, have excellent attention to detail and can demonstrate areas of your work where accuracy has been your strength. You are a people-person and enjoy collaborating with a variety of co-workers from Executive through to Site Management. You have sound MS Office and industry software skills. You are an influential leader and support team collaboration.
