Children'S Social Worker – Adoption – Knowsley

Children's Social Worker Team: Adoption Location: Knowsley Rate: £35 p/h Adoption in Merseyside (AiM) in the Regional Adoption Agency for the Merseyside region covering Knowsley, Sefton, Liverpool and Wirral.
AiM provides all statutory adoption functions including recruitment and assessment of adopters, family finding for children and adoption support.
Responsibilities: Prepare and assess potential adopters. Provide training and report writing. Attend AiM Adoption Panel. Support adopters with children placed. Work within an experienced adoption recruitment team. Work 36 hours per week, with agile working implemented. Collaborate with Local Authority Social Workers. Minimum Requirements: DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work Social Work England registration Enhanced and in date DBS certificate Excellent communication skills and ability to make informed decisions Ability to work independently and within multi-agency setups Knowledge of service needs Competent IT skills for electronic file/recording systems Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessments/reports Flexible approach to work and hours when needed Why Ashberry?
