About Exceptional CareExceptional Care is a therapeutic children's service providing care and support to children and young people aged 8-17 from complex backgrounds who display challenging behaviour and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
The service is an independent social care organisation with multiple residential units across the North West.
We believe that consistency in care is paramount to children/young people with complex needs.
We are committed to developing and maintaining good communicative relationships with the child/young person.
Exceptional Care uses a systemic therapeutic approach to support the nurture and care of our children, rooted in attachment theory and trauma-informed approaches.

You will provide a high standard of care and support in a professional manner to vulnerable young people with challenging behaviour and emotional behavioural difficulties.
You will develop a good working relationship with both children and young people and other outside agencies, being a trusted person for each child through building positive relationships.
You will be part of a team that works together to create a loving, stable environment to ensure each young person achieves positive outcomes and learning experiences.
