Full Job Description Mitchell Street Childcare Centre is a community service and has been operating for over 40 years, we have Educators that have been with us for over 20 years.
We are now looking for Qualified Early Childhood Educators(Team Leaders) and Assistant Educators(Childcare Workers).
Qualified Early Childhood Educators(Team Leaders) Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or working towards Valid working with children check First Aid including Asthma and anaphylaxis COVID-19 vaccinated Tasks & Responsibilities: Lead, guide and support a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care; Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Lawand applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care; Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics; Working in accordance with the services Code of Conduct; Implementing and upholding the services' philosophy while undertaking all duties; 06/2023, 15:07 Group Leader; Childcare Worker - Darwin NT 0800 - https://au./job/group-leader-childcare-worker-ea3a108443ea3e5f 2/3 Facilitating the implementation of contemporary, research-based practices at the service; Keep up to date with relevant theoretical practices and apply where directed; Maintain and uphold Workplace Health and Safety; Maintain and uphold privacy and confidentiality; Providing ongoing support and assistance to other staff in all areas of service operation; Providing ongoing support and assistance to the Director and Approved Provider/Management Committee; Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards Ensure you have a sound understanding of the expectations outlined in this document to enablework performance to be executed according to our service standards.
Undertake other duties requested by the Director.
Job Type: Full-Time ----- Assistant Educators(Childcare Workers) We are looking for motivated educators who are passionate about working with children and theirfamilies.
Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III or Diploma qualifi ed/studying At least 1 year experience in equivalent role Tasks & Responsibilities: Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children Contribute to the educational program under the direction of the Lead Educator to provide a high-quality program for all children Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the Lead Educator.
Work with the Lead Educator to implement the successful planning, implementation and evaluation of a program for the service that is reflective of an approved learning framework; the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) or My Time Our Place (MTOP) Contribute to the collection, recording and evaluation of children's records and observations, as required under the National Quality Standard and regulatory authority Implement inclusive practice and lead an environment which honours diversity Be proactive in ensuring currency in best early childhood practice Contribute to the ongoing development of the Quality Improvement Plan for the service Job Type: Full-Time Job Location: Darwin, Northern Territory
