Childcare Director I Non for Profit I $140,000 + superWe are looking for an innovative leader who will manage, mentor, and guide both Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the centre while developing a culture of enquiry and learning.You will have the ability and autonomy to develop innovative evidence-based practice and lead change.This is a 60 placed centre, purpose-built service for children aged 2 – 6 years based in Coogee (Eastern Suburbs)It is our belief that the centre operates as a result of communication and respectful interactions between staff, children, families, and the local community.Key responsibilities include yet are not limited to:Develop & implement the centre's programs, systems, and operational processes to ensure the successful running of the centre.Ensure reporting requirements are monitored, maintained, and completed on time.Maintain & develop positive relationships & effective communication with the committee.Develop positive and open professional relationships with families, children, and staff.Provide effective support, guidance & mentoring to staff members of the centre.Manage the centre's budget and expenditure within the budget framework.Ensure the centre operates within the centre's policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations requirements.Ensure rosters & staffing of the centre are well organised.Manage & guide staff with their professional development & their individual goals & performance.Ad-hoc duties as required by management.Market the centre to the local community.The successful candidate will ideally have:A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with 3 years' experience as a Centre Director in a community-based centre.A current First Aid Certificate.Exceptional knowledge and experience in leading a team of professional staff.The ability to develop effective & positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent written & verbal communication skills.A solid understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations.What is in it for you?Excellent Salary base up to $140,000 plus super depending on experience.Opportunity to work with a fantastic non-for-profit organisation and to up-skill.Professional Development.To apply for this exciting opportunity, please forward your resume via the "apply now" button or call Chris Early Learning Placements on 0414 300 581.
