Childcare Centre Director (Nominated Supervisor) We are looking for someone who is passionate about childcare and has experience managing an early childhood education and care service for at least 2 years.
Knowledge of the Education and Care Services Law and Regulation is essential, and you should have current knowledge of these regulations.

Strong communication skills with families and team members are a big plus.
A fun and engaging personality is also important, as this role is in a lively sector!

Primary objective of the role Facilitate, guide, role model, and manage Kiddie Academy using an integrated approach to achieving excellence.
Ensure a safe, secure, and positive environment that fosters communication and relationships.
Act as a facilitator in a leadership role, providing mentoring and support to all educators.
Manage the Centre effectively, ensuring professionalism among educators and a safe learning environment for children.
Determine a Responsible person for service requirements.
Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of children attending education and care services.
Improve educational and developmental outcomes for children.
Promote continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care services.
Establish a system of national integration and shared responsibility in the administration of the National Quality Framework.
Improve public knowledge and access to information about the quality of education and care services.
Ensure the centre meets the requirements for Certified Supervisors.
Maintain all educational leader and ECT waivers requirements.
Ensure compliance with First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Training.
Requirements of the position Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care and School Care.
Knowledge of the NSW Early Years Learning Framework and oversight of program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Experience in preparing Quality Improvement Plans.
Knowledge of Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Ability to lead and evaluate the Centre through Assessment ratings.
Demonstrated written, computer literacy, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage staff effectively.
Experience working in partnership with families and staff.
Knowledge of Child Protection and current issues in Children's Services.
Current First Aid certificate.
Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
Hold a Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent.
Hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check or Police Check.
