We are a medium-sized, community-based organisation with services and programs in disability, mental health, family and youth support, community development, and early childhood education and care.Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Child, Youth, Family & Community Manager with a proven track record in Family Services or child protection and exceptional leadership skills. This role is central to our organization, responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our programs and ensuring that they are delivered with the highest standards of excellence and efficiency. You will lead a team of 5 direct reports including Case workers, social workers, community workers, program coordinators, and administrators to deliver effective programs and services that improve the lives of children, young people, families, and communities.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership: Manage and enhance the day-to-day operations of our child protection programs, ensuring they are executed effectively and meet all regulatory and safety standards.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that align with our organizational goals and mission.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in child protection. Implement and oversee quality assurance processes.Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for operational areas, ensuring optimal use of resources and financial accountability.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and funders.Crisis Management: Provide guidance and support in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff during crises.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, preferably within child protection or a related field. Demonstrated experience in managing complex operations and leading teams.Education: Degree in social work, psychology, public administration, business management, or a related field.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in Leading Early Intervention Case Managers.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and implement effective solutions in a rapidly changing environment.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Commitment: Deep commitment to child protection and advocacy, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.Why Join Us?You will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a difference.
