What is the Talent Register? The Child Protection Frontline Talent Register is an online portal that allows you to register your interest for full time and part time opportunities that are: Fixed term/secondment up to twelve (12) months, or Transfer at level for existing permanent public sector employees Permanent. The register is actively monitored by managers to match applicants to available opportunities. You only need to register your interest once, and your application will remain on our jobs register for current and future opportunities.

Some of the roles you may be considered for as part of the Talent Register include:
Child Protection Workers work with children, young people and families who are vulnerable or in crisis to ensure children are safe and protected from harm. Case Support Officers provide direct support to Child Protection Workers by collecting, recording and analysing client information, and engaging with children, families, government and non-government support agencies. Family Support Officers provide supervision and support to families, children and young people about accessing Department and community resources. Customer Liaison Officers are the first point of contact for members of the community accessing the Child Protection and Family Support services of the Department of Communities. Parent Visitors are responsible for undertaking home and community visits to provide culturally appropriate support and assistance to Parents and Carers. Best Beginnings Plus Workers provide a personal culturally appropriate parenting skill service to assist in the growth and development of families to facilitate child safety and wellbeing.
