The Child Health Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner works within a multidisciplinary team to support the health and development of Aboriginal Children between 0-5years living in Ntaria, Wallace Rockhole and Utju Communities.
The position is a case management role and carries out clinic based and outreach work including comprehensive child health and developmental assessments including appropriate referrals and follow up, maintaining immunisation schedules and supporting access to appropriate health services for children.

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered NurseDemonstrated clinical experience in a primary care or similar settingCommitment to integrating Aboriginal values in practiceWorking knowledge of Child Health and an understanding of current practices, theories and valuesWillingness for, and understanding of, remote area work; andThe ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive adaptable attitude, and a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds, we want you!
