About the Role: Settlement, Engagement & Transition Support (SETS) is funded by the Department of Home Affairs and has the goal of helping families successfully settle in Australia.
SETS services will be provided for specific visa categories that lead to permanent residency and citizenship.
SETS will help people who have moved to Australia in the last five years, to feel more settled and comfortable in their new home and community.
The program aims to equip people with the knowledge and skills to identify, understand and take action to address their settlement needs, with a focus on social participation, economic well-being, independence, personal well-being, and community connectedness.
SETS services are funded to be delivered by Intereach in the Murrumbidgee region of NSW and in Northern Victoria.
We are seeking eight dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team in this fast-paced and dynamic position.
This position requires community connectedness, case management and group work skills, working with cultural diversity, trauma informed practice and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of Multicultural Communities and delivering successful and impactful programs.

This role is part time 30.4 hours per week (full time considered) and is fixed term until 30 June 2027.
Positions are available in Mildura, Swan Hill, Echuca, Bendigo, Shepparton, Hay, Deniliquin, Finley, Corowa, Griffith, Cootamundra, Wagga Wagga and Albury.
The role has been classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award as a Level 4.1 with an annual starting salary of $85,126.08 (Pro rata) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.
