About the Role: As the Operations Manager, you will have a crucial leadership role working closely with us—the owners—to oversee the operations of multiple centres. You will ensure that each centre maintains the high standards we uphold at Nature's Academy, particularly as we expand into new locations, including greenfield sites. You will focus on mentoring our Centre Directors and ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Hands-on Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and work directly with Centre Directors and staff to ensure each centre operates at its full potential. You will actively engage your team to create a positive and collaborative work environment.Occupancy Management: Work closely with the directors and staff to optimize enrolment and ensure that centres are operating at optimal occupancy.Greenfield Setup: Actively set up new centres from scratch, ensuring they meet all regulatory and operational requirements.Operational Excellence: Oversee staffing, compliance, safety, and enrolment management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of each centre.Weekly Meetings & Continuous Improvement: Hold regular meetings with Centre Directors to review operational performance, update policies and procedures, and ensure centres remain compliant with all laws and regulations.Financial Performance: Monitor and manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure each centre's financial targets are met.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and national childcare, safety, and educational regulations across all sites.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the broader community, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.What We're Looking For: Proven experience in multi-site management, preferably within the early childhood education sector.Demonstrated experience in setting up greenfield sites.Strong leadership and team management skills, focusing on mentoring and inspiring educators.Hands-on approach with the ability to work directly with staff to ensure operational success.A solid understanding of childcare regulations and best practices.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Relevant qualifications in business, education, or a related field (preferred).Valid Working with Children's Check and a current driver's license.What's in it for You?
