We have a position for an Assistant Director 2IC (Full Time or Flexible Part-Time position - you can choose which you prefer!)
The Role:
This is a hands-on role and as the Assistant Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the centre's daily operation and provide innovative leadership to a team of experienced and professional educators. You will have a solid understanding of the NQF and NQS and have the practical experience of being able to run a high-quality centre ensuring all regulatory obligations are being met. In addition to your leadership role, you will be required to be hands-on to support and guide educators in all aspects of the industry.
You will be supported by an experienced team in the day-to-day running of the centre and you will receive management and mentor support from the Operations Manager and Centre Manager. This support also includes access to management and leadership training to ensure your skills are continually updated, providing excellent career development.

Requirements:
To be successful in this position, it is expected that you have:
ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
Experience in growing a service and team culture
Previous leadership and management experience as a leadership position / 2IC / Centre Manager
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for Child-Related Employment
Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
Understanding of the NQF and NQS
Understanding of and commitment to competency early childhood practice that the Early Years Learning Framework informs
Effective skills in conflict resolution, team building and implementing performance review processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements
Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with families and staff

Pay: $32.00 – $45.77 per hour
