The Chief Student Officer will play a crucial role in VU's commitment to being a student-centric institution, with best practice student systems and services to provide a seamless and personal approach for our students.

The Opportunity:

The Chief Student Officer is a senior member of our People and Organisation Portfolio, and VU is looking for someone to provide strategic leadership and innovate student administration functions, to deliver exceptional service to all VU students (including vocational, higher education and online student cohorts, domestically and internationally).

Leading a high-performing team, the Chief Student Officer will work collaboratively with areas across the institution, transforming student administration with a tech, process and people mindset.
You will work in partnership with key stakeholders and delivery teams to design and deliver business-led end-to-end solutions. We are looking for someone with strong ideas, and the systematic and collaborative methods to achieve them.

Just as VU has set out to be very different in our approach to education - with the Sunshine Skills Hubs at our TAFE division, and our one-of-a-kind First Year College and VU Block Model - we are now looking to forge our own way with a student experience that is excellent,
