Your Role
Step into the role of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for IAG's Retail Insurance Division (RIA) where you'll drive our risk strategy by leading a highly effective, contemporary risk management team that balances our opportunities and risks to support customer, business and shareholder outcomes. You'll do this by being a trusted partner to the business, enabling risk-informed decisions through commercial risk advice, challenge, oversight & insight that is driven by data, technology and innovative risk processes. You will be a key contributor to the delivery of IAG's Strategy and the creation of a stronger, more resilient IAG.
You'll be a strategic partner to the executive and senior leaders of RIA by bringing market-leading risk management practices to practical application. You will be required to promote and embed risk management practices and concepts in support of IAG's 'Risk Intelligence' to identify and manage emerging risks, external threats and opportunities, as well as potential loss and risk exposures, as part of IAG's decision-making. You'll support IAG's Group CRO with strategic leadership in the development of contemporary, effective, and efficient risk management concepts and practices to enable IAG to deliver on its strategic intent whilst remaining within agreed risk appetite.
This position can be based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).
