The Opportunity
The Chief People Culture & Inclusion Officer (CPCIO) is the CEO's key partner in leading the development and reinforcement of the Agency's culture and has responsibility for the enablement of that culture through people related processes and initiatives.
The CPCIO is responsible for building the people and culture capability of the organisation and leading the human resources team to maintain effective and efficient people related processes to support organisational goals.
The CPCIO is responsible for the strategic direction of Future Fund Academy, the Agency's corporate learning institute.
The Future Fund Academy will enable cultural, technical and leadership development activities across the Agency.
The CPCIO is the Sponsor of the "Supercharge Our Culture" Focus Area and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

The key duties of the position include: Your responsibilities will include leading the continuous development of our people and processes.
You will support talent management initiatives such as attraction, retention, and succession planning, and ensure our Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is aligned with our organizational goals.
Additionally, you will develop and monitor our Diversity and Inclusion strategy, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and performance management systems.
As Chief People, Culture & Inclusion Officer, you will oversee the Future Fund Academy, a key tool for developing our people and creating a high-performing team.
You will maintain and promote our preferred culture, provide leadership development and training, and support technical skills acquisition strategies.
Your efforts will ensure an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued and able to contribute.
You will lead a high-performing People, Culture & Inclusion team of around 30 people, ensuring they are integrated into our organisational culture and work effectively alongside the business.
Your leadership will ensure the team delivers timely, accurate, and business-oriented people advice and services.

We are seeking a candidate with a formal degree and/or postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
Additional studies in psychology or equivalent areas are highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have proven HR leadership and advisory experience at a strategic level, with strong relationship management and team-building skills.
Experience in developing and operating a corporate learning academy, along with applied knowledge of Australian employment law, is essential.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and balance business needs with attracting and retaining a modern, flexible, high-performing workforce.
A commitment to cognitive diversity and inclusion practices is crucial.
Experience advising executive and leadership teams on broad-ranging people-related issues, as well as organisational and leadership development, is required.
The ability to work effectively with Chair and Board committees and lead a team of high-performing professionals is also necessary.
Key competencies include strong leadership and professional presence, with the ability to influence and unite people around a shared vision of culture.
The candidate must demonstrate credibility, confidence, and professionalism, earning trust and respect from others.
They should maintain composure under pressure and balance strategic foresight with operational execution.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with a personal style that models integrity, equity, fairness, and transparency.
The candidate should promote a culture of belonging and psychological safety, creating a positive, supportive work environment.
Building and maintaining strong, emotionally intelligent relationships within the organisation and its broader network is vital.
A team-first approach with excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills is required.
Experience in government or finance-related organisations and knowledge of investment psychology are highly regarded.

Each fund has an investment mandate that is determined by the Australian Government under legislation.
