We have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Services team on a permanent full-time basis as our Chief Operating Officer. This is a flexible role based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. About the Role Paralympics Australia (PA) is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking leader who can seamlessly integrate operational management with financial oversight, driving innovation and performance across the organisation. The COO role will be pivotal in delivering long-term organisational success, providing a hands-on approach to implementing advanced systems, technology and CRM solutions to improve business efficiency. The role will also focus on developing innovative strategies to improve financial performance and ensure Paralympics Australia's goals are met in a sustainable and agile way. The role works closely with the CEO and other executives, providing guidance on the organisation's financial health while also overseeing daily operations to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness. Key responsibilities will include: Executive and operational leadership Financial management Data and technology integration Reporting and analysis Risk and compliance Stakeholder engagement About the Candidate Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, forward-thinking leader with a strong track record in executive roles such as CFO, COO, or other senior management positions. You will have extensive experience in strategic, operational and financial leadership and management, with expertise in technology, cybersecurity and digital transformation. As a proven leader, you will be able to guide complex change management processes in a fast-paced environment, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and team collaboration. Experience and skills Proven experience in senior operational and financial leadership roles with CA/CPA accreditation. Strong background in managing cross-functional teams and operational performance. Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategy execution. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Current Working with Children Check.
