SCSS employs over 3,000 employees and delivers essential health and support services nationwide.We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer Corporate Services, to join our dynamic executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COOCS will be responsible for the continued growth and expertise of our corporate services functions and act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Directors. This role calls for an innovative leader with a strong background in HR and Industrial Relations (IR), Safety, IT, Marketing and Customer Service with a passion for building stable, high-performing teams. As COO CS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction across the NDIS, Child Protection, VETs, Aged Care, and Home Nursing sectors.The OpportunityReporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services (COOCS) will play a critical role in shaping and advancing SCSS's corporate services, including HR, Safety, Technology and Marketing, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Directors. This includes delivering key insights to inform strategic decisions, improving operational processes, and ensuring alignment with the business's growth objectives. The COOCS will also focus on driving innovation through digital initiatives, optimising workforce planning, and enhancing the organisation's market presence through talent acquisition and branding strategies.Key Responsibilities:Providing strategic advice on market conditions and product trends and recommending operational improvements.Leading and mentoring the Corporate Services Team, fostering a high-performance culture.Overseeing workforce optimisation, rostering, and productivity metrics for continuous improvement.Driving digital transformation and implementing scalable IT systems to enhance operational efficiency.Developing and executing strategies to strengthen the business brand and enhance client and stakeholder engagement.About YouFor this appointment, SCSS are seeking a well-rounded executive with a strong background leading teams and driving efficiencies within a highly regulated and consumer-driven market, in an organisation of equal or greater scale. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the current industrial landscape across the care economy, such as disability, aged care, or children's services. With a strong commercial acumen and proven experience in delivering transformative change across multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will have:Extensive experience in executive leadership roles, particularly within HR (strong IR knowledge) and corporate services in community care or health sectors.Proven experience leading an engaged and high performing team supporting large, geographically dispersed workforces.Track record of driving successful recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies.Demonstrated success in optimising workforce planning and aligning HR strategies with business growth and operational efficiency.Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of developing executive and senior management talent.What's on OfferThis is an exciting opportunity to join a highly impactful community services provider and work in an influential and critical leadership capacity, with clear impact on the success of the organisation.
