Your Team Join a passionate Directorate team that ensures the organisation's services are meaningful, culturally informed, and responsive to the needs of Anangu women and their families.
By working closely with the Directors, this team amplifies the voices of Anangu women, ensuring their leadership shapes every decision.
Your Role As Chief Operating Officer, you will report directly to the CEO and lead the transformation of our client's corporate services.
You'll steer operational strategy, support growth, and drive innovation across the organisation.
In this pivotal role, you will: Oversee and optimise operational functions for efficiency and excellence.
Mentor and guide a high-performing management team.
Lead decisions on innovation and best practices.
Shape and execute strategies that align with the organisation's mission and values.

Your Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency by implementing and completing transformative projects.
Oversee key functions like HR, IT, and administration.
Ensure the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably.
Leadership: Inspire and mentor the senior management team to achieve excellence.
Build a collaborative, positive, and mission-driven culture.
Strategic Vision: Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, and Directors to shape and execute a forward-looking strategic plan.
Monitor, evaluate, and refine operational strategies to boost performance.
Financial & Risk Management: Partner with the CFO to ensure financial health, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Coordinate audits and implement recommendations to enhance systems.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, funders, and community members.
Represent corporate services in board meetings and other key forums.
Team & Culture Development: Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative workplace that champions diversity and the organisation's mission.
What We're Looking For Skills & Experience: Proven leadership experience, with a talent for inspiring and guiding teams.
Strategic mindset and the ability to translate ideas into action.
Expertise in compliance, risk management, and NFP regulations.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Personal Attributes: Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive problem solver.
Ethical, diplomatic, and fair in all interactions.
Resilient and passionate about creating meaningful impact.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in business administration, nonprofit management, law, or technology.
Post-graduate qualifications (desirable).
5+ years of senior corporate management experience in the commercial or corporate sector.
