General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)Full timeThe PositionWomen's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) seeks to appoint a strategic leader and advisor to the role of Director Office of the Chief Executive (Chief of Staff), to support the advancement of the WCHN mission, ensuring alignment with government health policies and ministerial priorities.Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Chief of Staff will oversee strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and foster stakeholder engagements critical for advancing public health services and improving the wellbeing of women, children and young people across the region. The Chief of Staff will provide vital support to executive leaders, including advising on organisational strategy, enhancing communication channels and fostering collaboration to achieve shared objectives. As a trusted advisor, the Chief of Staff will provide strategic guidance to the CE on aligning initiatives with health sector goals and will foster relationships with key stakeholders (government, healthcare providers, community organisations) to enhance, collaborate, advocate and promote health equity, accessibility and public trust in governmental health services.Key Responsibilities:Oversee strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies.Support executive leaders with high-level advice and guidance.Enhance communication channels and foster collaboration.Provide strategic guidance to the Chief Executive.Build relationships with key stakeholders to promote health equity.Minimum Requirements:The incumbent will be a highly strategic, authentic leader, with proven experience in the provision of high-level advice and guidance to senior executive leaders, as well as the support of governance related activities. With exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, the incumbent will have experience supporting strategic delivery within a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment. As a leader who demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will be adept at building relationships and influencing across the broad stakeholder landscape.
