This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Lord Mayor of Newcastle as Chief of Staff.
You will be responsible for strategic planning, policy development and day to day running of the Office of the Lord Mayor in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this critical role will see you providing high-level strategic advice that aligns with the community's priorities and the City of Newcastle's (CN) objectives.
You will be playing a key role in working stakeholders to drive impactful change and shape Newcastle's future.
As Chief of Staff, you will lead the overall management of the Lord Mayor's Office (LMO), overseeing daily operations to create a productive and positive work environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating and executing strategic initiatives, working closely with Councillors, the CEO, and a wide range of external stakeholders including community organisations, business groups, and constituents to address a wide range of issues.
Your role will be crucial in developing partnerships, facilitating key projects, and ensuring successful outcomes for the Lord Mayor and the community.
