The Opportunity An opportunity now exists to join MBS in this critical role where you will provide senior advisory and executive support to the Dean regarding the management of strategic initiatives and planning processes, whilst also driving organisational efficiency and execution. As Chief of Staff you will also work collaboratively with the senior leadership team (SLT) to support the development of excellence, efficiency, and consistency in areas of organisational level governance, policy, processes and reporting.
Other key responsibilities will include:
• Leading the annual strategy and planning process
• Assistance with the long-term University rankings strategy and oversight of its implementation
• Execution of strategic projects on behalf of the Dean
• The design and development of comprehensive dashboards to provide real-time insights into KPI's and strategic objectives
• Ensuring systems, processes and culture across the School are aligned and information shared
• Build and maintain connections with key stakeholders externally, across different parts of the University and within the School
• Manage the Office of the Dean, including all administrative staff.
About you A strategic leader, you will help make the MBS strategy a reality whilst connecting our people to purpose. You will demonstrate solid commercial experience and have a successful track record supporting both people and operations. Your comprehensive knowledge of business management issues, concepts and tools, and your experience providing advice with regards to business planning, risk management, operational improvement and efficiency will be essential to your success in this role.
A postgraduate degree in a relevant field whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.
