Add expected salary to your profile for insights.The PositionThe Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) delivers visionary leadership and management of operational performance of the Marketing, Future Students and Admissions Directorate, ensuring objectives and activities align with the strategic priorities of the Division and whole of University. With an ambitious growth agenda, the CMO will drive measurable outcomes utilising data for informed decision making and positioning the organisation for ongoing sustainability and growth.This role is a key member of the University's leadership team and reports to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Services and Resources. Delivering best practice marketing and student recruitment services along with the leadership of branding strategies form key components of the role. Critically, the CMO will collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders and provide high quality strategic advice to University Executive and committees.The successful candidate will drive a culture of innovation, quality and performance in this results-oriented role. The University seeks to advance and reinforce the University's brand, relevance and attraction to prospective students, internationally and domestically. With a strategic mindset, the CMO will be an experienced marketing and student portfolio leader bringing strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. The ability to gain the confidence of key stakeholders across the University will be a key requirement. An understanding and knowledge of current policy imperatives in higher education will be important in addition to excellent operational leadership skills.A personal alignment with the University's core values of excellence; authenticity; integrity and respect will be key.
