The University of Sydney Business School is seeking to appoint our next Chief Learning Innovation Officer, a newly created position that will play a key leadership role within one of the world's best research universities and its triple-accredited Business School, ranked in the top 1% of business schools worldwide, and global leaders in management education. This is an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to and steer the digital and strategic direction of a Business School recognised for its excellence in research, education, and community engagement.
In this role, you will work closely with the Faculty General Manager and the Business School's leadership team, providing strategic and operational leadership to support our academic and digital innovation endeavours. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing the Business School's digital education strategy, ensuring alignment with the University of Sydney's ambitious 2032 Strategy, which emphasises research excellence, a transformative educational experience, sustainability, and a commitment to a thriving and diverse community.
Key Responsibilities: Develop the Business School's digital learning strategyLearning design and product developmentStakeholder relations and technology deploymentDrive strategic change and ensure operational alignment across the Business SchoolEnhance culture of excellence, trust, and accountabilityFoster strong internal and external relationshipsGuide and develop professional staff and service cultureContribute to governance and strategic decision-making processesA seasoned executive with excellent capacity to oversee the full suite of functions in the portfolio, the Chief Learning Innovation Officer will play a pivotal role in our ongoing efforts to enhance and amplify the Business School's educational offerings both domestically and globally. We are in search of a proactive leader who can work collaboratively, strategically, and effectively to ensure we continue to strengthen our operating model and services to embrace and realise our ambitions. Experience in higher education management and an understanding of the strategic issues facing the sector both nationally and internationally are essential.
