Chief Information Officer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the company's technology strategy. With at least 5 years of experience, particularly in FinTech, you will drive the evolution of the blockchain and payment cards related platform. You'll oversee engineering, infrastructure, quality assurance, and innovation, ensuring the solutions support business growth and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business goals. Lead engineering/developers' teams, manage budgets, and drive innovation.
Platform & Infrastructure: Ensure robust, secure, and compliant platform architecture. Optimize performance through advanced technologies and strategic vendor partnerships.
Team Management: Lead a team of ~35 developers, fostering collaboration and high performance. Provide mentorship and career development.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, Treasury, Support and Operations/Finance teams to align technology with business needs.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends, championing innovation and ongoing platform enhancements.

Other Responsibilities:

Identify, deploy, and manage innovative technologies, solutions, and platforms such as blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology
Partner with the Company's external business stakeholders to understand their technology needs, provide technical expertise, and lead the solutioning and implementation process for those needs
Take a leadership role in the evaluation process and business case analysis of technology solutions, business applications and other employee tools
Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy
Develop and communicate architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures in collaboration with other teams
Manage vendors for strategy and innovation in line with corporate standards
Perform vendor due diligence, risk mitigation, and IT audit activities

Requirements for Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years in senior technology leadership, ideally in FinTech or a SaaS Product business.
Strong expertise in cloud computing, software architecture, and cybersecurity.
Deep understanding of following principles and notions:
Decentralised solutions of L1 and L2
EVM environments
PoW and PoS consensus mechanisms
Blockchain rollups, including Optimistic and ZK rollups
ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-404, ERC-4337
HD wallets and bip-32 standard
Demonstrated success in the development of strategic recommendations and priorities across a balance of business needs
Diverse problem-solving experience and demonstrated technical leadership experience
Passion for technology and its game-changing impact on financial services, with a strong understanding on technical concepts, operating models and financial technology trends
Proactive self-starter with "get it done" attitude, excellent time management skill and the ability to multi-task and juggle
Proven ability to work successfully in an autonomous, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving work environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $220,000.00 per year
