The primary purpose of the position is to ensure effective health record practices are developed and maintained to provide quality information for patient care, health service planning and management. Join us as we progress an exciting Hume Region Digital Health Strategy with a regional new Patient Administration System being implemented and EMR on the roadmap.
To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience and exposure to new innovation and development in Health Information Service systems, specifically EMR, electronic document systems, record management, data management and Health Informatics. You will be adaptable to change and able to explore and initiate new ways of working in line with technological developments and service requirements.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
• Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent and eligibility for full membership of the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA).
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading a skilled and motivated team.
• Sound knowledge of activity based funding.
• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to develop, refine and maintain a diverse stakeholder group.
• Demonstrated high level of communication (verbal, written) and presentation skills.
