A little more about the role
This senior leadership role provides direction and management of the Finance Division and reports directly to the CEO. Responsible for data analysis and the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports with meaningful commentary, the role is key to providing commercial insight throughout the business.
Key functions include but are not limited to:
Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/Board of Directors and members of the leadership team
Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
Advising on long-term business and financial planning
Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements
Conducting audit projects
Carrying out activities within the division in line with the company's strategic goals
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to improve financial acumen relevant to their roles and functions
Providing input into processes to improve efficiencies within the division
A little about you
CPA or CA qualification
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
Critical and analytical thinking
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and planning skills
Experience in the use of Xero accounting software
Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High-level problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to relate operational activities to financial results
