The Chief Financial Officer will provide Senior Commercial and Operations Management with finance partnership, supporting the company's strategic goals in strategic planning, profit & loss, cashflows, capital expenditure, procurement, commercial contracts, billing, revenue assurance, cost management, and operations management. The primary role of the Chief Financial Officer is to drive cost management and increased productivity using factual analysis, eying opportunities for cost savings & cost reduction plans, optimising capital efficiency, and ensuring that only profitable revenue earning opportunities and cost savings initiatives are invested into. The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and ensures compliance with statutory and board reporting requirements, ensuring that all governance rules and delegation of authority are adhered to.Qualifications/ExperienceProfessionally qualified AccountantMinimum eight years experience of working in a Telecommunications Finance environment, of which at least two years must be at the senior management levelExperience in leading change, including measurable improvements to operations, costs, processes, and systemsStrong negotiating and influencing skillsExcellent people management skills and experienceStrong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, including presentationExcellent at problem-solving and creative thinking, can exercise sound judgment, and make accurate and timely decisionsStrong Team Player who works in a collaborative spirit and accepts collective and individual responsibilityA result-oriented person with a strong sense of urgency and a high level of ethics & integrityCan manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle a fast-paced environment
