Hays is working with a leading Tasmanian-owned and operated construction business (both Residential and Commercial) that has been in operation since the early s. Employing over 70 staff, they are seeking a strategic CFO to join their business on a permanent full-time basis. With projects across Tasmania, they genuinely care about their clients and projects while ensuring they are industry leaders within their field.
Your new role
Based in Greater Launceston, as the CFO, you will report to the Managing Director and play a critical role in leading the finance operations of the group and providing strategic and commercial support and advice. This newly created role will see you leading a small team, overseeing financial compliance, and providing meaningful advice to the executive team to assist with decision-making. You will also focus on system improvements, reporting, and ensuring the daily financial operations are efficient.
