Chief Financial Officer

This construction services business operates multiple contracting divisions both in Australia and overseas. The board has set a growth agenda which will require finance to implement new transformational processes to ensure it can support this strategy.
This role will lead the financial and commercial operations of the group including general management of the change agenda. The role will financially drive and re-engineer the group to achieve optimum industry success through the implementation of key performance criteria such as profitability, cash flow, monthly WIP analysis, working capital management, return on investment, and sound project costing systems. The role will also review and partner with Divisional GMs on the most appropriate strategies to optimise returns and identify opportunities to improve both the business model and the associated individual businesses.
The successful candidate will be CPA/CA qualified with strong experience gained in project management from construction or engineering. Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation of multiple entities will be highly regarded, as will successfully managing the implementation of key financial transformation projects.
