We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team and help drive the financial and strategic direction of the organisation.
This role will appeal to a forward-thinking, commercially savvy leader who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence, ensuring both financial sustainability and alignment with the organisation's mission.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide high-level financial strategy, oversight, and guidance to the CEO and Board, driving sustainable growth and optimising financial performance.Governance and Compliance: Ensure robust financial governance, risk management, and compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations, safeguarding the organisation's long-term stability.Business Planning and Forecasting: Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring sound financial decisions that support the organisation's objectives.Board and Executive Collaboration: Present insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the Board and senior leadership, shaping key decisions that will enhance business operations.Operational Excellence: Oversee key functions such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and asset management, driving efficiencies and ensuring financial controls are optimised.Innovation and Systems Improvement: Lead the continuous development of financial systems and processes to support an agile, responsive business model in the ever-evolving aged care sector.Experience & Qualifications: Proven Executive Leadership: Extensive experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the aged care, healthcare, or not-for-profit sectors.Strategic Expertise: Demonstrated capability in developing and executing financial strategies that drive organisational performance and deliver sustainable growth.Governance and Risk Management: Strong track record in financial governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management at the executive level.Communication and Influence: Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams with influence and authority.Qualifications: CPA or CA qualification required, with a degree in finance, accounting, or business.
