What is the role? Tenure; Five (5) year Senior Executive Service role
This is an executive leadership role which leads and manages the financial management and accounting functions of the Department and its legal entities. This role works collaboratively as a member of the Corporate Executive team and in supporting the delivery of key functions and projects for the State Government. The role is also responsible for delivering on shared JTSI objectives including shaping strategy and delivering on the department's organisational change agenda.
You will have significant management and leadership experience with an ability to provide strategic direction and policy advice to management across the Department in relation to financial management, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations. You will be highly motivated with an ability to inspire a sense of purpose and direction, be able to demonstrate achieving results and have the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
