Chief Financial Officer

You will be joining a substantial business ($1Bn+ revenue), a subsidiary of a multinational corporate. It is in the industrial B2B sector with a portfolio of brands and infrastructure that positions them as leaders in their markets. The strategy is to leverage opportunities across existing markets and the business's unique network to drive organic growth and market share.

This challenging role will report to the CEO and will be a member of a small Executive team with a focus on:
Locally supporting the execution of strategy and driving performance managementInternationally partnering with the CEO on maintaining and developing relationships with Group Head OfficeBuilding business partnering capability with a value-add attitudeUnderstanding the business and leading the management of financial and operational riskDeveloping financial smarts through innovation and controlled change managementHaving a direct impact through your own personal effectiveness and hands-on approachProviding leadership and developing a business-focused finance team The business prides itself on a can-do attitude where teamwork and people make a difference, and their actions impact business performance. For a large business, it has an entrepreneurial attitude and focuses on enjoying the journey.

By the nature of the sector and the breadth of the role, it will be a demanding position. It will require you to be driven, planned, adaptable, and capable of prioritizing and resolving a variety of issues (financial and operational) at any point in time.
