About the role:
We have an opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join our team. We are genuinely doing things differently and this is the opportunity to make a real impact by bringing your experience and passion for finance strategy, operations and leadership in supporting Mantel Group scale-up through organic & inorganic growth.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will lead the finance team to develop and enhance our governance, financial reporting, modelling, and decision making.
You will be responsible for ensuring Mantel Group is well supported in a number of strategic objectives related to enhancing our business operations and working with our Partners and Client Engagement teams to build diversified revenue streams.
Your priorities will include: Leading a collaborative, transparent, optimistic culture in line with our principles.Owning the relationship with our various external stakeholders & partners (external accountants, auditors & corporate finance advisors).Enhancing and maturing our finance functions across the business. Key Responsibilities: Capital Allocation and Investment Strategy: Optimise capital allocation for growth, acquisitions, operations, and cultural initiatives. Evaluate ROI for technology solutions, GTM, and service innovation.Strategic Finance: Lead financial planning, analysis, and strategy to align with business goals. Drive commercial and pricing strategies to maximise margins.Financial Operations: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Risk Management: Ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing finance team.M&A: Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities.Commercial Acumen: Drive commercial and pricing strategies to optimise profitability.Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ideal Candidate: An experienced CFO, with a strong track record in the professional services industry.CA or CPA qualified with a deep understanding of financial analysis and strategy.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build and motivate teams.A strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.A hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done.
