We have full vertical integration; growing, packing, transporting and exporting our own products across the globe. We have exciting plans for growth and expansion and would love to see the right candidate share the journey with us.This is a hybrid remote and on-site role, ideally with 2 days per fortnight on site, so would suit a Melbourne based candidate.Purpose of the RoleTo deliver best practice Finance function including providing strategic financial guidance, leading financial planning and analysis, and overseeing financial operations. The CFO works closely with the operations teams within orchards, packhouse and sales to monitor, guide and improve business systems and profitability. The candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of functional activities, including: Finance & reporting (statutory and management reporting) Budgeting, forecasting, planning & analysis Tax compliance Treasury management Company secretary Board reporting Debt managementTax complianceAnnual statutory reporting including external valuation and auditsThe role requires excellent communication and planning skills with a high level of attention to detail. A multifaceted position, it is required that this person possess a critical eye for detail and accuracy, and an ability to multitask and work under pressure. A commitment to understanding all aspects of the business is required. Experience & Skills Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking, with a track record of driving financial performance, managing P&L, and achieving growth targets while incorporating sustainability metrics. Highly developed reporting skills particularly within Excel. Extensive team leadership experience with proven experience motivating outcomes and developing a cohesive team culture. In-depth knowledge of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Familiarity with financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and internal control frameworks. Excellent problem solving skills and decision making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Experience in overseeing accounting tasks such as payroll, AP, AR, Asset Management & Depreciation, Business Banking and Management Accounts & Board Reporting.
