Following the appointment of two experienced and inspiring CEOs, and creation of the next 12-month strategic plan, Possability has a vision of advocacy, care enhancement and commercial stability.
The Opportunity
Possability is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial operations and drive organisational growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this key leadership role will oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, corporate finance, and financial reporting, as well as the operational portfolios of property, procurement, fleet, and payroll. A strong focus will be placed on improving financial performance through data-driven decisions and activity-based costing models, particularly within the NDIS and Child and Family Services sectors. The CFO will also support the organisation's strategic vision by providing commercial insights that help maximise service delivery efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future of a purpose-driven organisation committed to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals.
About You
The preferred candidate will be an accomplished financial leader with a strong background in management accounting and experience working with activity-based funding models. They will likely come from sectors adjacent to the NDIS in health or social purpose, with a proven ability to navigate complex funding structures and optimise financial performance. Experience in roles like Commercial Director or Head of Finance, particularly in organisations that interact with government or the non-profit sector, will be highly regarded.
This individual will demonstrate a deep understanding of financial strategies that drive efficiency and support service delivery within frameworks like the NDIS. They will bring a hands-on approach to leading financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiencies. Additionally, they will possess strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams. A candidate with experience in aligning financial management with strategic growth initiatives and delivering insights that inform critical business decisions will thrive in this role.
