What You'll Do
Drive Growth and Transformation:
Lead our transformation and growth strategy by providing insightful analysis and recommendations that will shape key business decisions.
Strategic Planning:
Spearhead the business planning process, setting financial, operational, and people targets in collaboration with the Executive team.
WIP and Utilisation Management:
Monitor and analyse Work in Progress and utilisation metrics, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Align Business Objectives:
Work closely with department heads to ensure project performance and utilisation goals are aligned with broader financial and operational objectives.
Financial Reporting:
Improve the capture and reporting of financial information, ensuring our CEO and Board have the data needed to guide the business.
Performance Management:
Help meet monthly operating budgets, profitability goals, WIP and cash collection targets, ensuring project profitability remains strong.
Process Improvement:
Drive results through effective processes like invoicing, debtor management, and cost control.
Commercial Acumen:
Build commercial acumen across the business and enhance our analytics capability to support client, project, and operational activities.
Leadership:
Oversee our Finance, Legal, and Risk teams, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
What You Bring
Leadership Experience:
A seasoned CFO with a proven track record in greenfield environments, where you have successfully established systems and processes from the ground up.
Courage:
You inspire bold action aligning teams with strategic outcomes
Growth Mindset:
Continuously adapting through learning to drive progress and innovation
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications; CA or CPA preferred.
Industry Experience:
Experience in Professional Services, ideally within engineering, though other relevant industries will be considered.

A team player with a high level of integrity and a natural ability to collaborate.

A values-driven leader with a strong desire to shape the organization's culture. You lead with care, ensuring teams feel valued, supported and visible.
