Full timeA unique and rare opportunity exists for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our fast-paced and dynamic business housing multiple companies and entities. With a national remit and the opportunity to drive financial performance and strategic growth, we are seeking an individual with exceptional commercial acumen and the drive to be a major contributor to the Company's growth and success.Reporting to the Group General Manager, leading a Finance and Payroll team of 15, this role is responsible for leading the finance strategy and functions of the business and taking it to the next phase supporting the exponential and continued growth. This will include business partnering, strategic financial planning, M&A support, cash flow forecasting, financial and management reporting, and governance.Key Duties and Responsibilities

Providing strategic financial management and advice including cost and revenue optimisation, risk management supporting budget and growth objectives.Collaboration with the executive leadership team to establish long-range financial goals, strategies, plans, and policies.Drive high levels of accountability in the management of investments, providing prudent and effective financial advice and robust proposals ensuring cash flow is effectively managed.Providing guidance, insights, and in-depth due diligence and managing property portfolios supporting merger, acquisition, and divestment strategies targeting growth and revenue opportunities.Formulation and management of annual budgets, P&L's, balance sheets, cashflow, and critical financial modelling and forecasting.Reporting on financial information to inform strategic decision making, optimise cost control, and manage risk.Identify, lead and analyse cost improvement initiatives to build finance capability.Manage and monitor internal and external stakeholder service delivery to foster existing relationships and optimise services.Design and integrate existing and future financial systems to provide robust, accurate, and timely financial data and reporting supporting day-to-day operations.Establish and monitor benchmarks and performance standards for the Company's financial position.Implement and manage an internal audit program to monitor compliance and application of best practice.About You

The successful candidate will have proven, demonstrable experience and success in a similar role. Automotive/Engineering/Manufacturing industry experience will be highly regarded but not essential. To achieve success in this role you will have:Tertiary and post-graduate qualifications in Accounting (CA/CPA), Business or related discipline.Proven experience in a strategic executive leadership position leading a broad financial services function in a large, complex organisation, maximising long-term business viability and growth.Proven working knowledge of accounting standards and requirements.Executive level stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, drive, and motivate leaders of the business.Experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling and reporting.An attractive remuneration package including a fully maintained vehicle will be negotiated commensurate with skills, knowledge, and experience.About Us
