Chief Financial Officer for a construction/development company.About the roleThis is a full-time Chief Financial Officer role within R developments PTY LTD, a growing and boutique style construction/development company based in Arundel, QLD. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and strategic direction of the business, playing a key role in shaping the future success of the company.What you'll be doingProvide strategic financial leadership and oversight to the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Manage the full accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure financial integrity and mitigate risk.Collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive business growth and profitability.Prepare and present financial reports to the Directors.Oversee the company's financial operations and make recommendations for improvements.Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant financial regulations and legislation.What we're looking for10+ years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer or senior finance executive, preferably within the construction or a related industry.Proven track record of implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.Extensive knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make well-informed decisions.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) preferred.What we offerAt R developments PTY LTD, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where our employees can thrive.
