North Plympton, SA 5037ABOUT THE ROLE:The Chief Financial Officer is a strategic leadership role for the company's finance department. While managing Treadwell's financial actions, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for tracking cash flow, analysing strengths and weaknesses and ensuring that financial reporting is completed on time.MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervising the organisation's financial operations, ensuring all reporting and regulatory obligations are fulfilled to the highest standards.The position will be designed to accelerate the company's growth towards achieving a $50 million revenue (current Big Hairy Audacious Goal).Reaching $100 million in revenue with an EBITDA of at least $20 million and maintaining positive cash flow (proposed new Big Hairy Audacious Goal).This will involve addressing the current multi-entity structure and require expertise in expanding into international markets (Australian Entity, New Zealand Entity and Trust Entities).Oversee daily operations through a Finance Manager located in the Philippines.Work closely with the CEO and management to develop and enhance financial strategies.Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting complies with Australian and international standards.Guiding the overall financial strategy of the company.Managing financial performance by creating forecasts and tracking ongoing results against established plans.Be accountable for the financial well-being of the organisation.Offering commercial guidance to the management team regarding capital resource allocation, project prioritisation, and strategic initiatives.Leading the Finance team to ensure excellence in daily service delivery.Facilitate organisational change through comprehensive financial analysis and strong business collaboration.Implementing and establishing inter-company arrangements to function effectively as three distinct entities: Treadwell Group and Treadwell Logistics.Support initiatives aimed at waste reduction to improve efficiency and profitability. Identify financial risk areas within the business and develop strategies for risk mitigation as necessary.Conducting project feasibility studies to assess return on investment.Managing relationships with banking institutions and payment gateway providers.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with specialisation in accounting and finance.Certified Public Accountant Qualification (CPA).Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience as a Chief Financial Officer.Skill in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to lead teams in building complex models.Ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of data to identify and present meaningful observations and recommendations.Must be self-directed with the ability to manage competing priorities and thrive under pressure effectively.Demonstrate proven ability in developing models and conducting analyses that identify critical trends, support strategic decision making and create forward visibility.Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.Expert Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.PERFORMANCE GOALS:Improve the overall integration of the ERP systems to streamline the process, improve efficiencies and eliminate all double handling or double entry.Provide the business with further, regular, in-depth reporting to build upon the performance report dashboard already in place.Monthly reports to be submitted within seven working days from month end initially and then brought down to 4 days within the first quarter.Ensure financial reports are finalised, holding the finance team accountable for timely reports (within 7 days from month end initially and then down to 4 days within the first quarter).Provide strong, forward-looking analytical leadership.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a chief financial officer?How many years' experience do you have with forecasting for businesses?Have you worked in a role which requires experience with financial analysis and modelling?What can I earn as a Chief Financial Officer
