Job Description Polyglot Group | Business Services Provider
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (On-site)The CEO (AUS) has the following key responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Management:Lead and manage the Australian business as a Director of the Board.Develop and execute long-term strategies and annual business plans in alignment with Group objectives.Ensure operational effectiveness and compliance, focusing on licensed activities, Retail, and AFSL.Business Development:Drive growth strategies to capitalize on market opportunities in Australia and the region.Guide the local management team to achieve targets and maintain operational excellence.Monitor external risks and changes impacting the organization.Financial Leadership and Management:Collaborate with the Group SVP Finance to ensure financial alignment and oversight.Oversee capital funding and financial management.Develop annual revenue and expenditure forecasts for Board approval.People Leadership and Management:Work with the Group VP HR to implement a people strategy aligned with Group policies.Foster an engaged workforce with the right mix of skills and competencies.Lead the Australian business's Staff Engagement Plan.External Stakeholder Leadership and Management:Represent the company as the senior regional representative.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal obligations.Manage the business's legal functions and resources.Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: MBA or Relevant Qualification: Must have an MBA or equivalent qualification.Extensive Industry Experience: Minimum of 20 years in the energy industry.Visionary Leadership: Ability to quickly grasp complex situations and provide clear direction.Organizational Skills: Proven track record of efficiently organizing people and resources.Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex proposals to senior decision-makers and external stakeholders.Financial Acumen: Demonstrated competence in planning and delivering budgets.Technical Knowledge: Mandatory experience with IT/trading frameworks and sales setups in the energy sector.Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to influence and work effectively with others at all levels.Salary range: $270,000-$350,000
