WaterRA are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and influence.
As CEO, you will work closely with the Board to establish the strategic direction of WaterRA and inspire staff and members to achieve their shared vision and mission.
You will have the opportunity to drive the implementation of WaterRA's corporate strategy, ensuring financial sustainability and operational excellence into the future.
You will also use your exceptional stakeholder and engagement skills to build collaborative relationships and partnerships within the water sector to enhance WaterRA's reputation as a provider of high-quality research and capability-building.
With a strong focus on innovation and member engagement, you will strive to grow and diversify WaterRA's funding and membership base.
You will drive a positive culture and lead, inspire and develop collaborative, cross-sector working groups and teams to achieve on an ambitious strategy, as well as lead stakeholder and partner engagement, ensuring WaterRA's voice is heard in relevant forums and discussions.
To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in a senior leadership role within the water or environmental sectors, ideally with significant exposure to research and innovation.
You will have proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary and geographically dispersed team, and drive change in a research environment.
You will be a highly regarded and proven leader with the ability to influence, advocate and build strong stakeholder relationships internally, as well as with external stakeholders including government, research organisations and industry.
As a strong communicator with an approachable style, you have extensive leadership experience within an organisation with a strong customer focus and have had exposure working with Boards in a previous role.
