This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual who can provide strategic and collaborative leadership to enhance the performance of our organisation. As the CEO, you will lead Parks Victoria in delivering outstanding services to the Victorian community, supporting the management of Country by Traditional Owners, and protecting the unique natural and cultural values of Victoria's parks. You will also contribute to Victoria's economic prosperity by enabling sustainable tourism and economic opportunities.
Reporting to the Parks Victoria Board, the CEO will inspire and develop an experienced workforce to deliver exceptional park management, tourism, and conservation services aligned with government priorities. You will focus on implementing best practice safety and quality standards, outstanding fiscal management, and a proactive approach to risk management. Your leadership skills, experience working with Traditional Owners, and ability to navigate complex political environments will be crucial in building trust and credibility with government, industry, and the community.
