As a single student body established for Swinburne Students, the new Swinburne Student Association (SSA) will provide a central place for students to connect with student services and student representation, which responds to student needs and expectations as part of a world-class next-generation student experience.
The SSA will oversee the delivery of key student service areas, including advocacy, clubs and societies, sports and fitness, student wellbeing and student leadership.
About the role
Working under the broad direction of the SSA Board, the foundation CEO will lead the development of SSA as a key enabler of a vibrant, supportive and cohesive and inclusive student community, and an effective provider of a range of complementary programs and services for Swinburne students.
The role provides leadership of a range of programs and other student services, and is responsible for tailoring these to the interests and needs of Swinburne students.
About you
You are a dynamic leader with a proven track record in exceptional service delivery and business development, dedicated to providing outstanding student services.
Experienced in working with a board, you bring proven expertise in analysing business activities and funding sources, including financial management and budget control, and demonstrated capabilities delivering professional and engaging programs and services to a diverse student population.
Your open and transparent communication style, combined with your mentoring approach, will help foster a positive culture aligned with best business practices.
